Security - When confidential personal account data is sent to US Paycard through the Internet, we require that a "secure session" first be established using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). US Paycard's internal security standards safeguard your information submitted by computer in several ways. Encryption helps protect your data from interception by a third party. Except for access to data by US Paycard Personnel or the sponsor of your card program required to conduct business, you will be the only person accessing your data. We use security techniques designed to protect our customer data -- especially when certain data is used by employees and business partners to fulfill customer services.
Information Collection - When you browse the US Paycard website, you do so anonymously. Personal information -- including your E-mail address -- is not collected. Our website, however, may request that you voluntarily supply us with personal information, including your E-mail address and account number (if you are a US Paycard Cardholder or Client user), for purposes such as correspondence, account maintenance, checking your bill, making a purchase, or participating in voluntary online surveys. We limit the collection of information about our customers to what we need to know to administer their accounts, to provide customer services, to offer new products and services, and to fulfill any legal and regulatory requirements. US Paycard uses advanced technology and well-defined employee practices to help ensure that customer data is processed promptly, accurately and completely. Company Commitment to Privacy - In keeping with our strong interest in consumer privacy protection, US Paycard keeps abreast of current industry initiatives to preserve individual privacy rights on the Internet and in all aspects of electronic commerce. US Paycard extends these privacy principles to our business relationships. We expect the companies we select as our business partners to honor our privacy principles in the handling of customer information. These include companies that assist us in providing services to our customers. In selecting business partners, US Paycard considers the accuracy and quality of the data they provide, how they respond to consumer complaints and whether or not they provide opt-out choices for those whose information they process.
